Applications built with Power Apps for Microsoft 365/Teams/SharePoint/Dataverse
Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform are great content management creation and storage platforms for managing a whole
range of documentation and Forms-based business and Compliance requirements. Over the past 15+ years, personnel in KWS have worked with Microsoft
365, SharePoint, Teams and Dataverse for data storage, and used multiple elements of the
Power Platform for about five years to build highly competent and capable applications.
Systems and applications built with Power Apps as the UI are a great way of providing
businesses with a collaborative management environment by which people can access key material required for their role, and use documents and create data to process tasks and work.
The key to this is the ability to liaise and collaborate with colleagues using familiar tools. Having at its core the Microsoft Office suite means it is familiar to people right from the
start. Rich tools and in-built rules help contain where information can be placed and the ability to have a great portal experience (or directly integrate with your businesses) helps
people find what they want fast. Workflow enabled approvals and signoff adds control and forced structure to documents.
With a little help, you can create personalised accesses to structured rules managed data, Business Intelligence/ Data Reporting and integrates with key
Business Systems.
However, additional template and components can be required to create 'line of business' Software solutions capable of addressing real Business
